Childhood is not supposed to feel dangerous. It is supposed to be the season of questions and scraped knees and the absolute certainty that someone will be there when you get home.
For thousands of orphaned and vulnerable children across South Africa, that certainty was taken from them long before they were ready.
The 3241 Foundation’s Orphan Support Programme works to restore it.
Our work in this space focuses on three areas: safe placement facilitation, school enrolment support, and ongoing mentorship for children who have lost their primary caregivers.
It is important to note that the 3241 Foundation does not physically do all the above but rather vet organisations who specialise in these areas and then give them the financial support that is so needed.
