WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

The 3241 Foundation was built on a simple but demanding idea: that love without accountability isn’t enough.

The name 3241 carries deep personal significance for our founders — a reminder of why this work matters and who it is for.

Our founders wanted giving that works, that’s measurable and real. From that conviction grew a Foundation committed to uplifting the poor, supporting orphans and the elderly, caring for the sick, protecting animals, and stewarding the environment through targeted, practical programmes.

MEET THE FOUNDERS

The Foundation is led by two individuals who combine professional experience with a genuine personal calling to serve.

CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

REUBEN LOUW

Reuben Louw is a pioneering entrepreneur, marketplace leader and Kingdom builder who founded the 3241 Foundation out of a deep conviction that business, faith and compassion must work together to transform communities. As chairman of multiple companies and a lifelong advocate for the vulnerable, Reuben brings both the governance discipline of a seasoned executive and the heart of a servant leader to everything the Foundation does.

MARUIS BOTES

Maruis brings incredible strategic and ethical leadership and a deep personal commitment to community upliftment. With experience spanning business management, culterneering and operational systems optimisation, he brings an invaluable uniqueness to the 3241 Foundation. Maruis’s hallmark is that he leads by example that earns him the highest respect and commitment from all his team members and leaders. These attributes contribute in ways to the 3241 Foundation that words fail to express.

The Foundation operates under South Africa’s strictest nonprofit governance requirements, giving donors complete confidence in how their contributions are managed and deployed.

Registered and approved by the South African Revenue Service as a Public Benefit Organisation — meeting all requirements for charitable status and donor tax relief.

SECTION 18A CERTIFIED

All qualifying donations receive an automated Section 18A tax certificate — issued immediately upon successful donation. No admin delays, no manual requests.

Every donation is securely received and acknowledged with a Section 18A tax certificate for qualifying activities.

Funds are reviewed by the Foundation’s directors and allocated to active programmes based on operational priorities and donor preferences where specified.

Outcomes are tracked — beneficiaries served, meals delivered, animals rescued — and reported annually to donors and regulatory bodies.
